Dear WISTAS, du to the request of Carnival we have to postpone our Jour Fixe to Wednesday 27th!
Sorry for late announcement, but I also received the info today.

Dear WISTAs and WISTAs-to-be,
on our upcoming WISTA Jour Fixe, we will visit Carnivals' Fleet Operation Center (FOC), which was established after the Costa Concordia incident. Due to the limited seats available, we will offer an early tour in the FOC and a late tour.
Either the first or the last FOC tour, also for the presentation in between, registration is required due to limited seats available (FOC each time max 8 people, Presentation on Decarbonisation max 18 people). In between the two FOC tours we have the posibility to listen to a preseantion about decarbnisation from Christoph Schladör.
Please test yourself on Corona on the 20.04. prio to joining the FOC or presentation.

18:00 - 19:00 Presentation from Christoph Schladör VP Decarbonisatzion, in Future Lab, deck 6 – Max. 18 persons
Costa Group is working on ambitious goals to reach a carbon neutral operation of their fleet, ahead of others and regulatory requirements. A dedicated department has been created to combine the technical and operational efforts on a pathway to decarbonisation. Efficient operation of the ships, preparation for the use of alternative fuels and stimulation of supply infrastructure are key focus areas. The VP Decarbonization at Carnival Maritime GmbH, Christoph Schlädor, will introduce this dedicated department and its initiatives.
