Kick off Meeting: ICV Branchenkreis “Life Sciences” am 16.05.2024

Recognizing the paramount importance of fostering a collaborative environment for the exchange of insights among controllers, CFOs, and enthusiasts specializing in the intricate financial landscape of Life Sciences companies, the International Association of Controllers (ICV) proudly introduces its latest initiative – the "Life Sciences" sector work group.
This dedicated forum is designed to facilitate robust discussions, debates, and the generation of innovative solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced by the Life Sciences sector, such as navigating value-based pricing and advancing personalized healthcare. Emphasizing the value this work group brings to the table, the Life Sci-ences industry, with its distinct challenges, offers an ideal setting for members to contribute fresh ideas and refined solutions.
We extend an invitation to individuals keen on actively participating in our regular work group meetings, held 2-3 times a year, combining both in-person and remote attendance and we would like you, or someone from your team, to represent your company in this work group. The primary objective is to share experiences related to addressing challenges in controlling and financial systems within the life sciences domain and to collaboratively explore practical solutions.
Your active involvement in this work group is paramount. We are eager to invite you to our inaugural kick-off meeting scheduled for 16 May 2024, from 17:30 - 18:30 (online Meeting). During this kick-off meeting, we will start outlining the objectives of our work group, followed by a collaborative session to determine our focus areas (such as R&D Accounting, Value Based Pricing, Personalized Healthcare, AI Applications…). Afterwards, we'll delve into planning the structure and schedule of our future activities.
Networking will also be a pivotal component of our program, fostering meaningful connections among partici-pants. Furthermore, meetings will often take place at our esteemed association members' companies, providing attendees with valuable insights into diverse organizational practices.
