We will meet with our friends from WISTA Netherlands in Hoogezand to visit the shipyard and intend an overnight stay as well incl. dinner.

Royal Bodewes is currently one of the leading shipbuilding yards in Europe. The family-owned shipyard has a long and impressive history in building ships, through which they have developed an excellent reputation in the market. Over the last 200 years, Royal Bodewes has distinguished itself as a well-recognized and highly reliable shipbuilding yard. During the production process of the ships, special attention is paid to innovation, quality and the customer's needs. 

Bodewes shipyard is specialized in building cargo vessels in a range of 1,500 up to 15,000 ton deadweight.

Program:

13:30-14:00 Arrive at Royal Bodewes yard

14:00 - 15.30 Introduction/Presentation by the management of the yard

15:30 - 16:30 Tour of the shipyard

17.00 End of shipyard visit

18.30 - Dinner for those who would like to spend the night in Hoogezand.

For those of you who wish to stay the night we will arrange a dinner around 6.30pm. We recommend to stay at the Van der Valk hotel which is about 10 minute drive from the yard. We believe it will be a very nice opportunity to continue networking and connecting with WISTA if we all stay the night, so hopefully as many as possible of you wish to go for this option. The shipyards visit plus the dinner in the evening is sponsored by WISTA The Netherlands, however the hotel is at own cost.
