Arbeitskreis Internationales

Der Arbeitskreis Internationales (AK-I) versteht sich als „Tor zur Welt“. Damit stellt er das Bindeglied zu anderen Kulturen und Ländern dar. Außerdem schlägt er die Brücke zu unserem internationalen Dachverband: Junior Chamber International (JCI). Ziel des Ressorts ist es, das gegenseitige Verständnis sowohl auf wirtschaftlicher als auch auf kultureller Ebene zu fördern, sowie internationale Kontakte aufzubauen und zu intensivieren. Im Fokus stehen dabei zahlreiche Projekte und Veranstaltungsformate zum internationalen Austausch.

WHAT IS TWINNING OR MULTI TWINNING?

Wirtschaftsjunioren Stuttgart (short WJ Stuttgart) are part of a bigger interntional organisation called JCI. A Twinning is a partnership between two different JCI chapters. As a local chapter we have a Twinning with JCI Strasbourg. Next to a normal Twinning WJ Stuttgart is also part of a Multi Twinning. This means that multiple cities organise themselves to work together around a specific topic. WJ Stuttgart is also part of a Multi Twinning with seven other cities.

Together with the people from WJ Stuttgart and the people out of these 6 cities gather every year in one of the cities of the participating JCI chapters.
